The cooperation between Uzbekistan and China and the friendship bonds between the two peoples have been progressing steadily and enriching with new meaning. The state visit by President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov to the People’s Republic of China in August 2014 allowed for uplifting the bilateral relations of strategic partnership to a qualitatively new level. More than twenty documents covering projects totaling 5.2 billion US dollars as well as trade agreements for 800 million dollars were inked during that visit. Therefore, agreements were reached for a total of 6 billion dollars, which speaks of the further expansion of cooperation scopes.

The main results of activities of enterprises of SJSC "Uzkimyosanoat" in January-June, 2013
In the first half of 2013 enterprises of "Uzkimyosanoat" commodity output in current prices to the amount of 873.3 billion sums, with a growth rate of 100.1%, consumer goods amounting to 56.8 billion sums. Exports of chemical products amounted to 130.7% of the forecast. According to the localization program in January-June 2013 produced goods worth 188.4 billion sums, or 101.2% of the forecast.
Uzbek chemical industry to produce goods for 408.8bn soums in 1Q
По итогам первого квартала 2013 года предприятиями ГАК «Узкимесаноат» произведено товарной продукции в действующих ценах на сумму 408,8 млрд. сумов. Об этом сообщает пресс-служба компании. По данным пресс-службы, рост производства товарной продукции составил 4,5%. Предприятия отрасли в отчетном периоде также выпустили товаров народного потребления на сумму 23,9 млрд. сумов. Новых видов продукции произведено на сумму 15,7 млрд. сумов.
