Important agreement signed for JSC “Navoiyazot” within the framework of the Tashkent International Investment Forum

As previously reported, the International Investment Forum commenced its work today. Within the framework of this prestigious event, aimed at showcasing our country’s investment potential on the international stage, reaching new agreements with foreign investors, and implementing promising projects, a trilateral agreement of significant importance for JSC “Navoiyazot” was signed.

In accordance with the Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-459 dated December 28, 2022, and No. PQ-63 dated February 7, 2024, an investment project titled “Construction of an Air Separation Unit” is to be implemented at JSC “Navoiyazot”.

The project is intended to ensure the uninterrupted supply of nitrogen and oxygen to the company’s existing production facilities, as well as to joint ventures planned for establishment in the future.

To ensure the high-quality and timely implementation of the project, a trilateral agreement was signed during the Forum between JSC “Navoiyazot”, “Linde Holdings Netherlands No. 3 B.V.”, and “Sinoma Energy Conservation International Investment Co., Ltd”.

The signing ceremony was attended by Deputy Chairmen of the Management Boards of JSC “Uzkimyosanoat” and JSC “Navoiyazot”, the Chairman and representatives of “Sinoma Energy Conservation International Investment”, the Cluster Head of “Linde Holdings Netherlands No. 3 B.V.”, as well as other specialists.

The implementation of this project will further expand the production infrastructure of JSC “Navoiyazot” and create opportunities for the uninterrupted supply of nitrogen and oxygen to both existing and future production capacities.

A “Car-Free Day” Campaign Was Held at JSC “Uzkimyosanoat”

In accordance with the Decree No. 46 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 25, 2026, “On measures for implementing the nationwide ‘Clean Air’ project aimed at improving atmospheric air quality,” the “Car-Free Day” and “Car-Free Week” campaigns have been held on the 10th and 25th of every month starting from May 1, 2026.

As part of this initiative, a “Car-Free Day” campaign was also organized today within the system of JSC “Uzkimyosanoat” to promote environmental awareness, reduce harmful emissions into the atmosphere, and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Within the framework of the campaign, the company’s management and employees limited the use of official vehicles and actively participated in the initiative by commuting to work via public transport, bicycles, and on foot.

JSC “Uzkimyosanoat” will continue supporting environmental initiatives aimed at protecting the environment, improving air quality, and preserving public health.

A Seminar-Training on Artificial Intelligence Was Held at JSC “Uzkimyosanoat”

Within the framework of implementing the tasks outlined during the meeting chaired by the Head of State on October 21, 2025, dedicated to the accelerated introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into public administration, economic sectors, and regional systems, a seminar-training on artificial intelligence technologies was held at JSC “Uzkimyosanoat” on May 14–15 for department heads and employees.

During the seminar, participants were provided with practical and interactive presentations on the effective use of artificial intelligence capabilities.

In particular, the following areas were covered:

automation of work processes and improvement of personal efficiency;

The Chairman of the Board of Oʻzkimyosanoat held a meeting with a delegation of one of China’s крупнейших investment and construction corporations — China State Construction Engineering Corporation (CSCEC), headed by Tian Weiguo, Assistant President of the company and Chairman of the Board of Directors of China Construction Fifth Engineering Division.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the chemical industry, the introduction of modern technologies, as well as opportunities for implementing joint investment projects. NUU Delegation Participates in Scientific Seminar at HKUST(GZ)

Development of the Chemical Industry — A Driver of Economic Growth: Dialogue with Industry Entrepreneurs Held

A roundtable meeting with entrepreneurs who produce and export chemical products in the republic was held in the capital under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khodjaev. During the event, special attention was paid to accelerating the implementation of major investment projects in the chemical industry, commissioning new production capacities within the established deadlines, and promptly resolving existing issues.

Producers and entrepreneurs also presented a number of proposals aimed at increasing production volumes in the sector, launching new capacities, and expanding export potential.

As the nationwide holiday of Navruz approaches, landscaping and greening activities are gaining momentum across the country.

Continuing these good traditions, a nationwide hashar was also organized at JSC “Uzkimyosanoat” under the slogan: “The prosperity of the homeland begins with the mahalla.”

The management and employees of the company actively participated in the event, contributing to the improvement of the areas surrounding their workplaces.
