Systematic Environmental Protection Efforts Underway at JSC “Uzkimyosanoat”

JSC “Uzkimyosanoat” is implementing a wide range of comprehensive measures aimed at protecting the environment and reducing pollutant emissions into the atmosphere. Sanitary posts and stationary monitoring stations have been installed at enterprises to ensure continuous monitoring of ambient air quality, and intensive efforts are underway to improve the efficiency of dust and gas cleaning equipment.

• In particular, three automatic gas analyzers enabling online analysis of atmospheric emissions have been installed in Workshops No. 3, 23, and 25 of JSC “Navoiyazot.” In addition, a number of modern scrubber units have been commissioned at granulation towers to capture and reduce emissions.
• A total of 28 stationary monitoring stations have been installed in the city of Navoi and Karmana District to monitor ambient air quality. These stations have been integrated with the regional prosecutor’s office, the internal affairs department, and the Department of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change.
• At the same time, an online data exchange system has been established between JSC “Navoiyazot” and the Situational Center of the National Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Ecology and Climate Change.
• At JSC “Dehqanabad Potash Plant,” sanitary posts and stationary monitoring stations have also been installed to ensure continuous monitoring of atmospheric air in the sanitary protection zone, the “Beshbuloq” mahalla, and adjacent areas. Work is currently ongoing to integrate these facilities into the national geoinformation system.
• To enhance professional capacity, the Swiss company VEMA S.A. organized online training courses on monitoring and calculating greenhouse gas emissions for environmental specialists of JSC “Uzkimyosanoat” and its subsidiary enterprises.Upon completion of the training, participants were awarded certificates.

These initiatives clearly demonstrate the consistent efforts of JSC “Uzkimyosanoat” to support decarbonization, environmental sustainability, and national climate objectives.
