From September 15 to 17 of this year, the prestigious international “SPACE 2026” exhibition dedicated to agriculture and livestock farming was held in Rennes, France. Major Uzbek mineral fertilizer producers also actively participated in the international event, showcasing the export potential of Uzbekistan’s chemical industry and domestically manufactured products on the European market.

At the exhibition, mineral fertilizers and other products manufactured by Ferganaazot, Navoiyazot, Dehqonobod Potash Plant, Ammofos-MAXAM, and MAXAM-Chirchiq were presented under the unified national “Made in Uzbekistan” stand organized by Uzkimyosanoat JSC.

The national stand provided exhibition participants with an opportunity to obtain detailed information about Uzbekistan’s existing production capacity in the field of mineral fertilizers, the range of products available, and the country’s export opportunities.

As part of the event, a series of meetings and negotiations were also held with foreign companies with the aim of establishing new trade and economic relations.

In particular, discussions were held with representatives of Millenis UK Limited, TIMAC AGRO, and MISMA, as well as companies such as AXSO, Interore/Uniwen, and Qualifert, which specialize in the purchase, import, and distribution of mineral fertilizers in the French market. The parties discussed prospects for supplying Uzbek products to the European market.

During the negotiations, the parties exchanged views on the production capabilities of Uzbek enterprises, the export potential of their products, supply routes, and practical aspects of future cooperation.

Major international platforms of this kind provide local manufacturers with opportunities to establish direct contacts with foreign buyers and distributors, explore new markets, present their products to an international audience, and diversify export destinations.

In particular, entering the European market not only creates new trade opportunities for Uzbekistan’s mineral fertilizer producers, but also contributes to greater recognition of their products in international markets and the expansion of the country’s export geography.
