Issues of Anti-Corruption and Transparency in Public Procurement Discussed at Maxam-Chirchiq

Within the system of JSC “Uzkimyosanoat, systematic efforts are being carried out to ensure openness and transparency in public procurement, as well as to prevent corruption risks.

Representatives of the company’s Anti-Corruption and Compliance Department held a practical meeting with employees of Maxam-Chirchiq responsible for public procurement activities. During the meeting, the current state of public procurement processes implemented at the enterprise was analyzed, and existing problems and shortcomings were discussed. 

In addition, relevant recommendations were provided on the proper implementation of new legislative requirements in the field of public procurement, as well as on ensuring the legality and transparency of procurement procedures.

Participants of the event were also given explanations on preventing conflicts of interest in public procurement, ensuring a competitive environment, effectively using electronic procurement systems, and eliminating corruption risks.
